When you make a purchase at Dawn Patrol, whether it be in person in our surf shop or on our online store, we want to make sure that you receive the best customer service possible. We pride ourselves on core values including honesty, integrity and service. we try to make online purchasing easy by providing detailed descriptions as well as quality photographs of the merchandise so you know exactly what you’re getting. We do ask that you please allow 3 business days to process your order. Once the order has been processed, it will be shipped. we understand that situations arise and products may need to be returned.

Please review the following Returns and Exchanges Policy to answer any questions you may have and help expedite the process.


Return Policy:
Dawn Patrol will exchange / return merchandise, except for items specifically stated below, as long as it has not been worn, washed, ridden or used, and is in its original packaging with all the original tags attached. However there are a few products that may not be returned. Women’s bikinis (tops and bottoms), all watches and all sunglasses,  and all Skateboards that have been assembled by customer may not be returned or exchanged.  All other items may be entitled to a full refund as long as the merchandise is returned within 30 days of the original purchase date and in its original packaging with receipt. The credit card used on the original order will be used for any refunds and/or exchange price differences.  A valid receipt is required for all returns.

 

Surfboard Returns & Exchanges:
Surfboards may be returned or exchanged, but ONLY under the following conditions:
• 1. The surfboard must NEVER have been ridden, used, waxed or damaged in any way by the customer.
• 2. Customer is responsible for all shipping and custom (if apply) charges to return or exchange the surfboard.
• 3. A $50 restocking fee will be charged for all returned surfboards.
• 4. The surfboard must be returned or exchanged within 10 business days of initial purchase. *we strongly recommend insuring all returned or exchanged orders. we are NOT responsible for returned surfboards that have been damaged or lost in transit.

 

Defective Merchandise:
We will happily exchange or refund, at Dawn Patrol’s sole discretion, any item found to be defective or incorrect. For these items, we will incur the cost of the return shipping charges. To obtain a prepaid return label, please email us Sales@dawnpatrolsurfshop.com or call us at 1 (386) 947.SURF (7873).  However, Dawn Patrol is a distributor, and not a manufacturer of products. Accordingly, any warranty of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is that of the manufacture only and not that of Dawn Patrol. All OTHEr warranTIES (EXPrESS, implies, OR Oral), Including any implied warranty of merchantability, workmanship, and fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby excluded and Dawn Patrol shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of the purchased items.

 

Important Information:
Please note that we are not responsible for packages damaged or lost in transit or return shipping costs. We highly recommend adding insurance and tracking information to your package through a carrier such as USPS, UPS or FedEx. Please allow 3 business days for us to receive and process your order. Adjustments to credit cards will be made within 2 billing cycles. The customer specifically acknowledges and agrees that jurisdiction and venue for any actions brought by either party shall be exclusively in the Superior Courts of Volusia County, the State of Florida. The parties further agree that the law of Florida shall apply.  If Dawn Patrol initiates or is a party to legal proceedings to recover sums owed by customer, Dawn Patrol shall also recover its reasonable attorney’s fees, costs and expenses.

Notwithstanding the above and regardless of the circumstances, Dawn Patrol’s total liability to the customer for any and all claims, losses, or damages arising out of any cause whatsoever, whether based in contract, negligence or other tort, strict liability, breach of warranty or otherwise, shall in no event exceed the purchase price of the products from which such cause arose.  In no event shall Dawn Patrol be liable for special, incidental, punitive, consequential, or exemplary damages. 

Payment shall constitute acceptance of material. Any and all claims by customer as to any of the material purchased shall be made in writing and be made no later than 30 days after the same is purchased from Dawn Patrol. If no claim is made within such period, customer shall be deemed to have waived any rights to any claims against Dawn Patrol for such material. If a claim is asserted pursuant to this paragraph but the customer does not institute legal proceedings against Dawn Patrol within one year from the date set forth in the written claim, then customer shall be precluded from asserting such claim in any lawsuit filed after such one year period.
